Alcohol Content: 15% abv
Type of wine: Vermouth.
Sugar content: 150 g/l reducing sugars.
Production: Vermouth obtained from Canasta sherry (sweet, smooth wine produced from a Pedro Ximénez aged together for six years in America oak-wood casks within the exclusive Solera and Criaderas ageing system) and careful selection of Oloroso and infused with elegantly blended aromas of flowers, fruit, roots, wood and bark.
Flavouring: Artemisia and sage. Dried camomile, hops and elder flowers, saffron and clove spices. Fruit: star anise seeds, bitter orange peel, cardamom, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, nutmeg and vanilla. Roots: wild angelica, aromatic sweet sedge, emula campana, gentian, masterwort, lily and turmeric. Wood and bark: Ceylon cinnamon, dried croton bark, cinchona bark, pomegranate bark and quassia wood
Tasting notes: Bright mahogany in colour, its bouquet is a blend of aromas from the maceration of wine, fruit and plants which produce a pleasant, constant homogenous whole. Very pleasing on the palate, is taste is low in acidity, sweet and slightly bitter.
Suggestions for consumption: Serve chilled, neat or on the rocks; mixed with fruit juice; as a main ingredient in many cocktail recipes; etc… An excellent aperitif.
