Venezuela, one of the main producers and home to the most famous rums in the world, has succumbed to the charms of Williams & Humbert’s Rum Dos Maderas 5+3. The Venezuelan wholesaler Nube Azul C.A. has placed its first order for this exclusive rum which is fruit of the fusion of two cultures: the traditional character of Barbados Rum (where it is aged for five years) and the most subtle nuances which come from its second ageing process, a further three years, in American Oak barrels previously used for ageing the internationally renowned Dos Cortados Sherry, with a certified age of 20 years.
